Hello and welcome to Wyoming Rustic Furniture! My name is Brian Skarohlid and I am a native of Cheyenne, Wyoming.

I have been making furniture for over 20 years now, and am a qualified  Master Craftsman. I specialize in furniture made with aspen and weathered wood. I can, however, work with woods, designs, and dimensions that suit individual customers. 

 

I harvest all my own aspen logs, selecting standing dead aspen trees from public lands in Wyoming. In doing so I can control the quality of the product, look for characteristics that are desirable, and reduce ugly views and forest fire fuels. I mill my own slabs and incorporate live edges wherever I can.

 

Our weathered wood is sourced from Wyoming snow fence. It is naturally and authentically aged for an average of 8 years. We never rush the process or artificially age any wood.

 

This family owned and operated business is customer service oriented and eager to provide you with heirloom quality furniture. We are happy to make adjustments to make your furniture perfect for you. For instance, we can apply different stain, use different woods,

and change measurements.
